Elder Standring: Hi! I'm a Californian serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love my Savior and the Book of Mormon is like one of my best friends. If you know me then you'll understand that I'm giving two years to the Lord because I want to and would gladly give more. If I live to be 100 years old then two years is only a measley 2%! Well, I plan on giving all that I can within this very short 2% and hopefully much, much more in the future since I feel I have been given so very much and want to return the favor as much as possible. Of course, even if I work every day of my life to pay Heavenly Father back for the blessings He's given me, He still wouldn't break even and make a profit, but in the very least I can give when He needs, wants, or asks for something. My purpose is to bring the cleansing and rejuvenating blessings of Jesus Christ's atonement to the world, and help anyone I can along the way. In short, I am following Christ to serve the children of men, to add some measure of goodness to this Earth, and to make it a happier place to live.
