I hope everyone is doing alright during this, the best time of the year. Just a quick update email from me on my mission. It's not yet super cold and snowy, and of course, the German cuisine was delicious. As the people here say, have a good slip into the new year!
Yep, the 24th is the big day in Germany, although there the 24th, 25th, and 26th are the "three days of Christmas".
And like I said, for Christmas Eve dinner, we started by drinking hot chocolate and eating from trays of assorted chocolates, then a salad/bread appetizer, then dinner of chicken/turkey, red cabbage, and potatoes.
