5/26/14 Hanging White Boards: Planning and Goal-setting

Here's a picture of us putting up the three whiteboards earlier this morning in our apartment "Planning Wall". The bishop helped us by coming over with his drills so we could hang them up right with hooks, so we can take them down and use them to proselyte and then put them back up again. In the end we want the one or both of the quotes to go up on the wall somewhere along the top. :)  Also thanks so much for looking for the quotes [from some books and movies he wanted] and reminding Kira. In truth, it's a little thing that doesn't matter a whole lot, but I appreciate it a lot. [We put] up the three whiteboards earlier this morning in our apartment "Planning Wall"....In the end we want the one or both of the quotes to go up on the wall somewhere along the top. :)
I don't know if I've said it already, but we're planning a really big event in Wuppertal that involves the whole zone of missionaries (32) and hopefully the whole stake (10 congregations). We're doing a street exhibition with one table for each district and a different topic for each table. We want to include the members as much as possible, so we're having the young men's group spray paint the plan of salvation on boards during the whole thing (If you've ever seen the painting of the plan of salvation that was on the Berlin Wall, that's kinda what we're shooting for), and there's going to be a choir as well. It's a lot to think about, especially the logistics of how this is all going to work individually and then come together, AND what all the people who come are going to do, so we hope and pray we can get it set in stone and everyone understands what their part is, by the 14th of June. It's a lot of work. I've been emailing a lot of people, asking if it's okay if we publically use this and that for that and this. It will all work out though. Part of my faith is that I'm amazed at what Heavenly Father is accomplishing through me and what he still has for me to do. I trust him though.

Hope things are well with you,
~Elder Standring
